Acqua Essenziale Colonia Cologne by Salvatore Ferragamo, Acqua Essenziale Colonia is a 2015 addition to the Acqua Essenziale line, following both the original 2013 fragrance and Blu in 2014. Salvatore Ferragamo, the brand responsible for the creation of this prime product, aims to offer a fresher, lighter experience with this cologne than in its predecessors, using ingredients such as top notes of bergamot and water notes. Middle notes of lavender, orange blossom and clary sage add a green balance, and base notes of ambroxan, tonka bean and vetiver balance out the entire experience with a hint of mellowness.
Italian accessories designer Salvatore Ferragamo began his career in shoemaking as early as the age of nine, and traveled back and forth from America and Italy while perfecting his craft. His lifelong endeavor was to make high-quality shoes that were as comfortable as they were beautiful, and it was a goal he achieved before his death in 1960. The brand carried on after his passing and launched its first fragrance in 1998.
Acqua Essenziale Colonia is moderately long-lasting and has a moderate sillage, making it the ideal scent accessory for any occasion.
