Angel Schlesser Cologne by Angel Schlesser, Angel Schlesser is a mens aromatic fougere fragrance that was released in 2001. It has woody, aromatic, and fresh spicy main accords and moderate longevity and sillage that make it perfect for spring and summer day wear. The nose for this fragrance is perfumer Thierry Wasser. The scent leads with a bergamot top note, followed by rice, lavender, vetiver, sandalwood, ginger, cedar, cardamom, star anise, and cinnamon heart notes. The base notes contain fir, oakmoss, musk, and sandalwood.
Spanish designer Angel Schlesser started his fashion career with designer Juan Rufete, creating menswear. He moved to womens fashions once he realized that women were buying his mens jackets to combine with their clothes. He launched his eponymous fashion brand in 1984 and opened his first store in Madrid in 1996. Three years later, he launched his fragrance line, which currently contains 26 fragrances. In 2015, Schlesser sold most the brand to Oscar Areces. While Schlesser continues his creative work, designer Daniel Rabaneda was most recently selected to provide creative direction for the brand.
